*They* already think we’re corrupting the youth. What with the Drag Queen Story Time, Sociology, equality, et al. What were liberal minded people thinking?! Attempting to aspire towards a more equitable and beautiful world for all of us.

The politicians and pundits fighting so hard to end any effort to teach, enlighten, awaken (awoken?) are especially threatened by the affront to ‘traditional’ and ‘conservative’ values. Yet what is more traditional than family?

If the drag queens are out of commission and the Democratic Party is in a scramble to find their shining star, while simultaneously fighting back the orange wave, America desperately needs a hero right now.

May I suggest we mobilize the childless aunts?

Hear me out.

We mostly love children, we just couldn’t or didn’t have any. We have probably spent hundreds of hours with your kids. We are entrusted, albeit conditionally (the wine and salty-ness are quaint fodder for memes). We’re under the radar renegades. Think Charlie Sheen in a day care; people might wince but he’d have full access.

If the woke aunties start a campaign of organizing their nieces, nephews, biological and chosen, to relentlessly nag and neg their parents and grandparents into submission; defeated, too exhausted to vote, we might have a winning strategy. What’s more fatiguing than a 9 year old berating you for your Boomer opinions? A 5 year old withholding hugs because you don’t ‘believe’ in climate change, that’s what.

Grab the Pinot, a copy of Caste, and snack size packs of Goldfish Crackers. Let’s get these kids engaged in our plot for world domination!! Universal healthcare and free college for everyone! How scary.
